Our cancellation policy
Payments to TRL received to reserve space(s) or for balances due on existing reservations are non-refundable after January 1st of the year for which the reservation was made. Said payments may, however, be applied toward a different week (if space is available) or to another guest for that same year.
Guests frequently ask us what is customary to tip? Tips range from 5-20% of your trip price. We recommend 10% (@ $700), but encourage guests to tip in accordance with the quality of service they have received. We believe we have the finest, well seasoned and experienced staff in the business. Our entire staff works together as a service oriented team to ensure that all our guests enjoy their experience to the fullest. Each team member’s contribution is essential, so we pool the tips each week and divide them evenly among the staff.
liability waiver and beverage order form
In April prior to guests’ coming trip to TRL, we send out a form for each guest to complete and return. In addition to the liability waiver, the form asks for guests’ travel itinerary, emergency contact, physical/mental limitations, dietary restrictions. The form also has a spot for your beverage order. Our kitchen provides water, milk, and juices. Sodas, beer, wine, spirits and mixers need to be ordered prior to arriving in camp. We purchase your order, fly it into camp and invoice each guest on a his/her Camp Purchases Card.
In addition to their duties of getting you to the river and carrying your lunch, our guides offer a day of laughter, conversation, education and experiences. Partner with your guide. We assign one fishing guide to each two fly anglers. We rotate our guides through the week’s guests, so most folks get to share a day with each of the guides. There is always have an extra guide in camp so the boys get the occasional day off to take care of personal matters.
