Each year, more and more snow-goers are enjoying the dependable winter snow in Labrador! The annual snowfall is simply overwhelming. Sledding in Labrador is a winter way of life. Local folks get on their first machines as soon as they can walk and spend their lives captivated by winter snow-going. Groomed snowmobile trails criss-cross the immense wilderness. Thickly frozen backwaters, often dozens of miles long, offer scenic “highways” to push the performance level of machines. Flatlands are broken by forested hills piled deep with crisp powder where glade sledding can get outrageous. Mid-February to Mid-April is the ideal time to visit Labrador’s winter wilderness. Simply said, there is no finer snow sledding to be found anywhere! |
